CIVx (Correlation Imaging Velocimetry) is a free advanced Imaging Velocimetry implementation of Direct-Cross Correlation PIV that relies on generalized pattern matching by direct cross-correlation of pattern boxes between image pairs.
CIVx Key Features
CIVx is portable to most computer architecture and operating systems, including standard solution for windows and linux OS, stand-alone, server, cluster computers.

CIVx system is used at the CORIOLIS turntable in Grenoble,
France. As an European Research Infrastructure, several european teams use the
PIV system for measurements in the rotating tank.
